Welcome! My name is Kayla, but I go by Kae on all of my socials. But you all know me as The Writer Chick so I felt it was befitting to show the face behind the words.
I’m a 20-year-old college student, author, and entrepreneur. I’m currently getting my bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Film Studies.
I’m the author of three poetry books: Can I Tell You A Story About My Soul, Empty Boxes, and Mourning Doves. I also wrote a novella called Set Me Free.
I specialize in poetry, contemporary young adult fiction, romance, screenwriting, and blogging. As I continue to grow as a writer, I find myself wanting to branch out, so this list is only the beginning.
However, when I’m not writing, I’m working on my podcast The Writer Chick, and I’m running my candle business, Poetic Candles.
